Kiefer Foundation

The Kiefer Foundation is a national nonprofit committed to ending distracted driving and saving lives on the road. Founded in memory of Mitchel Kiefer, who was tragically killed by a distracted driver in 2016, the foundation works to change behaviors, educate on the importance of safe driving policy, and leverage technology to make our roads safer for everyone.

Through partnerships with schools, corporations, and community organizations, The Kiefer Foundation leads powerful awareness campaigns, supports hands-free driving legislation, and deploys innovative tools like the Just Drive Simulator, an immersive virtual-reality experience that allows participants to witness the devastating impact of distracted driving.
