Safer Traffic Stops, LLC is a family-owned and operated company based in Mid-Michigan that produces a patented, octagonal-shaped leather document holder designed to make traffic stops safer for both drivers and law enforcement. Founded by Susan Pope, the company aimed to address safety concerns during police encounters by allowing drivers to keep their identification, registration, and insurance visible on the steering wheel cowl, reducing the need for sudden movements to reach for documents. 
Purpose: The device is intended to reduce anxiety, stress, and potential risks during traffic stops for both drivers and officers by minimizing the need for drivers to dig through purses, glove compartments, or pockets.
